Hey guys, for the ones with the o-ring leak on the dizzy, is the oil collecting under on the bottom bolt holding the dizzy cap on? I've searched multiple times and I cant pinpoint the leak, and i wanna fix it before i change my oil.. Its definitely not coming from the block. I'll get pics up asap so hopefully someone can help me on this

What I do to finf leaks is pressure wash the area then keep a close eye on it that way u can tell exactly where its coming from

^ I degreased the whole area and after a 12 mile drive i check and oil collects oN the bottom side of the dizzy, and the electrical wires located right under the dizzy seem to be oiled a little. Weird thing is when i take off my cap there is no trace of oil coming from inside. Its very confusing because there is no oil on the transmission just on the electric wires and the underside of the dizzy. Ima snap a few pics.

I'm going to get a o-ring for the dizzy, and even if it does not solve it will remove one possibility

hey guys i did a test to find out further where this leak is coming from. It seems that the oil is coming from the dizzy cap bolts down. I researched and is it possible for oil to be leaking from there because of the o-ring? I would think that it would leak closer to the head. Does leakage from the cap mean i have a faulty distributor??
