2001 nbp integra type r - $17000 obo

2001 Integra Type R Black Nighthawk for sale with low miles, 128,XXX. TITLE in hand. Car and engine still runs strong. Production #01-0440. CLEAN TITLE, and a CLEAN CAR FAX, no accidents, always garaged. Only changes I made were a K&N air filter and an after market CD Deck (I still have the original deck). Always used Mobil 1 oil and filter, iridium spark plugs, tires (BFGoodrich - g-Force Sport COMP-2) . I owned this car since 2006. Smog test will be completed when I have an interested buyer. I passed smog earlier this year without an issue. Asking for $17,000 or BEST OFFER. Serious buyers only. If interested, leave your name, phone number and price. Email ONLY - jsiev1@yahoo.com

Vin#JH4DC23131S000619

A list of issues that I am aware about:
1) Front bumper paint is fading
2) Clear coat on top of car (passenger side) is peeling (softball size)
3) Small door dent on drivers side door near handle
4) Small rip on driver seat
5) "Type R" stickers on outside are fading
6) "Integra" sticker is peeling next to shift knob
7) Paint peeling on side view mirror on driver side
8) Wiper reservoir cap is broken (from putting the cap back on after filling it)

I wish i had this much cash burning a hole in my pocket! All original body panels? And a maintenance history would help your post!

I would never accept that from my paint guy..

Yes, all original body panels. Unfortunately, I don't have maintenance records.

Why are you selling it? That engine bay needs some love, that might help your sale. Then again, some people are skeptical of a clean engine bay.

I am selling it cause I am a family man now. I have baby and the car is no longer convenient for me, so I want to sell it for whatever I can get from it so I can purchase a "family car", so I am open to offers.

The engine was dirty over time but also due to the huge El Nino downpour. I gave it a quick clean, but nothing serious. I didn't clean the entire engine because I don't know how. I am not a "car enthusiast" or a mechanic. If I knew how, I would do it, but then again I don't want to damage the engine if I don't know what I am doing. I rather leave it to the experts. =)

Just park it and let it collect value.

Do me a favor. From now on don't care what other people think about your car. Do what YOU want to your car. Who gives a damn what other people think about it.

So true. I don't understand people that have A kid and think they need a bigger vehicle. I can understand triplets, but jeez.

Spoken by someone who hasn't ever tried to get a squirming child in an out of a car seat in the back of a coupe. It all comes back around though. You'll sell the Type R because of the new baby. Then you'll sell that one when you have another one (nothing sucks as much as two car seats in the back of a sedan). You may even go the van route (no shame. The Odyssey is a damn fine vehicle). Then as your kids get older and they are able to sit next to each other without killing someone you may go back to a Sedan. You'll end up with one vehicle that fits the whole family and the one that you commute with. Your kids will get shirts saying "I'm the reason Dad can't have nice shit" and you'll dream of the day back when you had a Type R. Then maybe 15 years from now you'll be back in a place where you can find one and it becomes a project that you can restore with the kids. It will be all kinds of fun. That's where I'm at now and it has been fine. You'll miss the R, but good on ya for having your priorities straight. Good luck!

I currently get in the back seat to put mine in when I take it to work. She's 20 months. I reach in and stick her in there. She stands on the seat/works on getting in her child seat. Then I get in back with her, strap her in and get back out.

Do me a favor. From now on don't care what other people think about your car. Do what YOU want to your car. Who gives a damn what other people think about it.

The wife told me to buy my car. If and when we have kids, it will be a tool to get them encouraged to speed. I'll NEVER sell my R.

Have you considered trying to auction it off on bringatrailer? There have been a couple great R's go up for sale and fetch top dollar there lately.
